About Jo
Jo has been a holistic therapist for 12 years. She is passionate about her work and helping people. The therapies she provides offer physical help for issues that there is simply not much support for. As a holistic therapist with extensive knowledge in a wide range of areas, she doesn’t just focus on the physical stuff. She also looks at diet, stress and other factors that may be contributing to clients symptoms so they can get the best results possible. Jo feels it really important to empower people along their own healing journey so she provides clients with a tailored programme of self-help techniques to help them speed up their healing wherever needed.
“I work mostly with people who’ve been suffering with ongoing or persistent problems that have been plaguing them for ages. Whether it’s constant digestive problems when I’m doing abdominal massage or someone’s anxiety issues when practicing EFT, I find there is always something you can do to improve the situation. It’s never hopeless and you don’t have to live with it.
I’m a big believer in providing people with the tools to look after themselves. There’s so much healing to be found in the ability to help yourself.
That’s one reason I love these therapies so much – I can teach the techniques to clients so when they are feeling well enough to finish sessions, they have all the tools they need to look after themselves.”
She also studied nutrition to help people support themselves with diet too.
“I love the therapy work I do. To see the difference in clients from when they start coming for sessions to when they leave is wonderful. Some of the changes, like helping someone conceive, are life changing and it feels simply amazing to have played a part of that. I can’t imagine doing anything else.”
